Resetting your modem & nbn™ equipment

It's always a good idea to give your router and nbn™ box a restart. Sometimes cache and temporary files can build up, slowing them down.

To do this, turn off the power to the nbn™ box (NTD) power supply at the wall outlet. Disconnect the power cable from the nbn™ (NTD) connection box for 2 minutes then reconnect the cable. Now, turn the power back on to the NTD power supply at the wall outlet.

The nbn™ box will take about 3 to 5 minutes to come online.

If your connection doesn't work you may need to reset your modem.

Run a speedtest by opening https://www.speedtest.net/.  Make sure you choose the Sydney server before clicking GO. The test will only take about 3 seconds to complete. You will be provided with the download and upload speeds
